This DIY will show you how to make a lazy mans paracord dog leash using the 4 strand round braid.

Supplies Needed:

1. Scissors
2. Paracord – To make a 6 foot leash with a 5 inch handle you will need two pieces of paracord that are 28 feet each.
3. Lighter – To singe the ends of the paracord. Can also be used to finish and melt the ends to the main cords at the end of the paracord dog leash.
4. Dog Leash Clip – You can use your preferred type of dog leash clip. In my video I used a lobster clasp rated for a maximum weight of 40 pounds.
5. Paracord Jig (Optional) – This is helpful for keeping your paracord tight when working.
6. Binder Clip – I use this to keep the project from coming apart on the other side when tying the handle knot.
