DIY Paracord Dog Tab Leash – Stitched Solomon’s Bar Knot

stitched solomons bar knot

This paracord dog tab leash was made using the stitched Solomon’s bar knot.

Supplies Needed:

  1. Scissors
  2. Paracord – To make a 6 foot leash you will need 102 feet of the pink paracord. You will also need another piece of paracord that is 82 feet long.
  3. Lighter – To singe the ends of the paracord. Can also be used to finish and melt the ends to the main cords at the end of the paracord dog leash.
  4. Dog Leash Clip – You can use whatever you prefer as the dog leash clip. In my video I used a lobster clasp rated for a maximum weight of 40 pounds.
  5. Paracord Jig (Optional) – This is helpful for keeping your paracord tight when working.
