The main part of this leash was made using the snake knot. The leash can be clipped to your pants, a belt, etc. Be aware however if your dog pulls a lot to attach the leash to something more secure.
Supplies Needed:
- Scissors
- Paracord – The length depends on the length you want the leash to be. In the video I used one strand of paracord at 140 inches to make 9 inches of knots.To make a 6 foot leash you will need around 112 feet of paracord.
- Lighter – To singe the ends of the paracord. Can also be used to finish and melt the ends to the main cords at the end of the paracord dog leash.
- Dog Leash Clip – You can use whatever you prefer as the dog leash clip. In my video I used a lobster clasp rated for a maximum weight of 40 pounds.
