DIY Paracord Dog Lead – Crisscross Solomon Knot

DIY Paracord Dog Lead Crisscross Solmon

This paracord dog tab leash was made using the crisscross solomon knot.

Supplies Needed:

  1. Scissors
  2. Paracord – To make a 6 foot leash with a 5 inch handle you will need 105 feet of the two black pieces of paracord. You will also need one green cord. I forgot to write down how long you will need the green cord to be. You will however be ok with using 105 feet of the green cord. However, there may be extra if you use 105 feet of the green cord.
  3. Lighter – To singe the ends of the paracord. Can also be used to finish and melt the ends to the main cords at the end of the paracord dog leash.
  4. Dog Leash Clip – You can use whatever you prefer as the dog leash clip. In my video I used a lobster clasp rated for a maximum weight of 40 pounds.
  5. Paracord Jig (Optional) – This is helpful for keeping your paracord tight when working.
